Goliath's Images
In the
summer of 2008 my son, Noah, the filmmaker and I visited
Goliath's Cave with John Ackerman. During that time we
interviewed John at various locations around and inside
Goliath's Cave. The following videos were produced from that
trip.

Cave with John Ackerman. Visit the Side Tributary passage and
learn about some of the cave's geology. (00:01:27) |

the DNR/SNA Cherry Grove Blind Valley to find the natural
entrance to Goliath's Cave, where he describes how he first came
to visit the cave. (00:02:49) |
 |

of Goliath's Cave. (00:01:45) |

Listen to
John Preston resurface after first discovering and entering
the Iconoclast section of Goliath's Cave. John Ackerman filmed
Preston's jubilant return, and though very little can be seen in
the video, Preston's unmistakable elation rings through
Goliath's Side Tributary sump. (00:01:30) |

Goliath's Cave's Rubicon Passage, a major trunk line passage
stretching over 2,000 feet. (00:01:51) |
